Eric Obwaka is an entrepreneur who initially struggled with the fear of networking and lacked confidence in business conversations.[1] He overcame this challenge by attending networking trainings and mastering the art of business networking.[1] He subsequently started a business with the goal of helping other entrepreneurs facing similar fears to build confidence, face their challenges, and scale their businesses.[1] [2] Obwaka trains individuals and business owners on how to start, run, and grow a business, with a particular focus on building social capital to increase network, sales, and income.[2] [3] He refers to himself as the "King of Business Networking" and has mentored 2500 people into business.[2] He is a Rotarian and a member of Business Network International (BNI), attributing his success to joining these organizations.[4] He was recognized as the "most Improved master connector member" in BNI in 2023.[4] Through Rotary and BNI, he has conducted over 75 trainings on building social capital and networking for career, life, and business, sharing insights at over 75 clubs within two years.[3] [4] His trainings are conducted both virtually via Zoom and physically.[5] He also utilizes social media for brand building and advises aspiring entrepreneurs to build social capital, network widely, and join many networks.[5] [6]
