Here is some exciting news about our April Chicagoland Rotary Means Business Networking Event.

Our April 15th the Chicagoland RMB meeting will take place in-person and via Zoom at the Paul and Jean Harris Home in the Beverly/Morgan section of Chicago! This is not just an ordinary meeting! We are meeting at the home of our founder, Paul Harris to continue to keep his dream alive! Rotary was initially founded as a Networking group back in 1905 when Paul Harris enlisted the help of a few area business professionals who began meeting and exchanging ideas. I am sure at that time he never imagined the impact Rotary would have on the world. Not only did his efforts succeed in the area of networking—Rotary began to change the lives of people world-wide.

Here is an opportunity to experience first-hand Rotary networking at its finest.

We are excited to host this event at the Paul and Jean Harris home in the Beverly/Morgan section of Chicago. Registration is required to attend in-person as we are following the current COVID guidelines for the State of Illinois. Registration is currently limited to 25 with social distancing in place. Should our state move into Phase 5 we will open registration to include additional participants.

Please join us as we are welcomed by Rotarians Cheryl McIntyre, Marshall Schmitt, and Geoff Swanson and the Paul and Jean Harris Board of Directors as we tour this beautiful restoration. This historical meeting will start promptly at 5:00 PM with appetizers and adult beverages served. Join us as we use this time to meet and greet with your fellow networkers and enjoy an opportunity for a deeper connection. This is your chance to strengthen your newly formed business relationships and enhance your RMB experience. At 6:00 PM we will begin our home tour which will be broadcast via Zoom. The meeting will be recorded to allow for RMB chapters across the globe to take part in our celebration of food, fellowship and fun with an extra dash of networking! Concluding our tour we will be directed to continue our mingling and enjoy our array of refreshments and food. Upon registration you will receive directions and a detailed map, parking instructions and additional useful information! For all in-person attendees you will receive a personalized name tag, goodie bag and great take-aways!

This is fantastic opportunity to take a look back in time and re-discover our roots as Rotarians and the indelible mark our founder, Paul Harris has left on the world through his legacy.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. If you are interested in car-pooling send me a private message. Please note you do not need to be a member of Rotary nor do you need to be a member of our district to attend. You need only register if you are planning to attend in-person. Everyone attending via Zoom will receive a copy of the Zoom link one day prior to the event.

Once again, registration is required only for those participants attending in-person. If you have never attended a Chicagoland Rotary Means Business Fellowship event please contact me via my email: lkemp@kw.com to receive a copy of the Zoom link.
